Our customers living in the Foxfield Close in Plymouth have received a new bench made of recycled materials for their community garden from Crown Paints.

The bench donation is one of many improvements DCH Community Development Worker, Jackie Blight and Crown Paints have been working together to brighten up the community garden.

Jackie Blight, Community Development Worker said “I would like to say a big thank you to Crown Paints for this fantastic donation to the community garden. Customers will be able to use the bench to relax and enjoy picnics in the community garden.”

Stuart Ashton, Contractor Specification Manager at Crown Paints said: “I am delighted to know that customers will benefit from being able to sit in the community garden with bench we have provided. This is all part of DCH and Crown Paints working together to invest in the local community.”

The contractor that carried out painting works for DCH was Ian Williams LTD from Plymouth.

The donation from Crown is part of their Nimtech scheme. You can find out more about this scheme here
