Exciting changes coming up for our residents’ magazines…

We are working more closely than ever as a group – our new group service standards for housing which we recently published are a great example of this. Yet, since DCHA, PHA and Tor came together as a group we have all been publishing our own magazines for residents. With Tor Homes now managing all of the group’s "general needs" homes in Devon, and PHA doing the same for Cornwall, we decided it was about time to think again and take the opportunity to make the new magazine better than ever.

And we couldn’t do it without you. Residents are at the heart of the magazine - you’re the ones who contribute stories, pictures and ideas and the ones who read the magazine, so your opinions really do count! That’s why we asked a great big group of residents from all over Devon and Cornwall to come along for a day in March to tell us what they thought. We talked about what we liked about our current magazines and what we didn’t, and wrote a ‘wish list’ of brilliant new ideas – there were lots! The next stage of the process is now well under way. We’ve given the brief to a number of different designers to see what they come up with, and we’ll be having another day with residents in May to look at all the designs and make up our minds – exciting stuff!
