Setting off on Saturday morning, staff from affordable housing provider Tor Homes, part of the Devon & Cornwall Housing group, pedalled their way from Barnstaple to Cullompton, through to Topsham, finishing at Totnes on Sunday night.
The 16-strong team were cycling as part of the housing company’s yearly challenge and this year, were raising money for the RNLI and the Children’s Hospice, South West.
Andrew Tonkin, one of the cycling team and Resources Director for Tor Homes said:“This was a particularly tough one, you forget how many hills there are in Devon and it might be a while before we can sit down properly.”
“Each year, we try to set ourselves a new challenge.We have climbed the Three Peaks, canoed the River Wye and walked the Two Moors Way - it’s a real company effort.Staff who feel they are unable to do the challenge still get involved by supporting and sponsoring us.”
