French and Dutch vistors

Representatives from our European partners in France and Holland paid a flying visit to see our regeneration work in large urban areas in Cornwall and Plymouth. Denis Bimbernet Chief Executive Auigillon Construction has visited us before but for Rob Vinke Chief Executive TBV Wonen it was the first time he had seen our work.

In Redruth they saw the regeneration of the old Redruth Hospital site. From there they moved on to the award winning scheme at The Village, St Austell where we are creating an urban village. They met members of DCHA's regional commitee in Cornwall before making their way to Plymouth.

The tour then took in the work we are doing in the Devonport area of Plymouth looking firstly at Gun Wharf and then the next phase of the regeneration of the west end of Plymouth on a site purchased from the MOD.

Our visitors then took the opportunity to brief group board members on the financial and political frameworks in each organisation.
