Adam is a safe pair of hands - helped out by funding for goalkeeping kit

One of the latest recipients of funding from our grants and awards scheme is 14 year old Adam Bainbridge from Liskeard.

Adam has his eyes on a career in football. He is a goalkeeeper and has been offered training with Liskeard and Truro City first teams. Adam says: "I am lucky to get the chance to train with these local teams and I would like to thank the Community Investment Fund committee for awarding me £130 towards the cost of my goalkeeping kit. Without their help I wouldn't have been able to make progress."

We provide up to £10,000 every year to go to individuals and groups to help them fulfill their dreams and ambitions. Adam is just one of a huge and diverse range of requests we have helped in the 7 years the fund has been running.
