Devon & Cornwall Housing is pleased to be adopting a new group vision, aims and values.
Towards the end of last year, the DCHT board consulted subsidiaries and all group staff on a new vision, values and aims. This was very successful, and led to lots of changes.
Following many comments and suggestions we made the wording much shorter and clearer, as well as adding a new aim of staff support and development.
DCHA, PHA, Tor Homes, DCLS and Westco are all adopting the group vision, aims and values. Each subsidiary also has the freedom to develop their own additional vision and aims, to describe unique aspects of their activities - this work is taking place in March 2007.
Our group vision
Our new group vision is clear and simple:

Our aims set out how we will achieve our vision:
- providing affordable high-quality services and homes
- supporting and developing our staff, and managing our resources effectively
- including and involving our customers, partners and other stakeholders
- becoming a more environmentally responsible organisation.
