Andrew Sloman

Director of Financial Services

David Davies

I'm responsible for our transactions; income, expenditure, payroll and the financial controls around them. Part of my role is to build and maintain relationships with other directorates. I work with Asset Management for example who build and maintain our housing stock. I also ensure we follow rules and the produce financial accounts.
This company has a strong reputation as an employer. This role provides me with interesting work across a variety of responsibilities and opportunities.

Paul Marshall

Director of Community Engagement

David Davies

I look after our Community Investment and Resident Engagement work. I ensure we provide opportunities customers within our communities to thrive and fulfil their potential. I also contribute to designing and informing our services.
I applied to work here because DCH had a great reputation and they are much more than a landlord. I know the amazing things communities can achieve when they are given opportunities and this company has enabled so much of that. I also like that every day is different.

David Davies

Head of Operations - Housing Support

David Davies

I manage our supported housing services. My team includes area managers, who provide support and housing management services around the south west. This could be within a Foyer, a mental health service, or a scheme for older people. I found the ideal role for me here. DCH is a good employer, and I've been given so many great opportunities.

Oliver Cox

Helpdesk Manager

Oliver Cox

I lead the team that runs the IT Helpdesk. We deal with queries from staff who experience issues with IT equipment. I was offered an apprenticeship when I was younger and the rest is history. Our staff are the best thing about working here. It is rare to not be able to have a constructive and friendly chat with anyone at DCH, no matter what the position.

Nadia Jones

Resident Engagement Advisor

Nadia Jones

I ensure that our customers have a voice and I run training sessions for them. I also engage with customers to identify ways that we can make positive changes to our services. I do this by holding focus groups and consultations. I moved to the area and I thought that working for this organisation would be a great move. I knew that there would be room to grow. The services that we provide to customers are invaluable and I'm also part of a great team.

Debbie Russell

Learning and Development Project Coordinator

Debbie Russell

I assist the Learning and Organisational Development team to deliver activities. This includes planning development programmes and providing career guidance. I was drawn to the fact that this is an established organisation with a charitable status. This is a diverse business and I realised there would be many development opportunities. I’ve been fortunate to work within many roles. This has been great for my personal and professional development.

Jake Schofield

Trainee Helpdesk Analyst

Jake Schofield

I assist and resolve orders that come through to the IT Helpdesk. I saw an apprenticeship online. I thought working here would be an excellent opportunity. I also knew a friend who was already working for the company and said they enjoyed working here. Staff are friendly and professional. I like the opportunities I’ve been given. I get to be really hands on. It’s expanded my knowledge and I’ve really grown as a person.
