How is work planned?
We have survey information that helps us decide what work is needed over the next three years. Normally this is based on the age and condition of elements in a home, such as kitchens, bathrooms or heating systems. We have also worked closely with customer representatives to agree the best way of deciding which homes should receive home improvements first.
What work will be done?
Different homes will need different types or amounts of work to meet our standards. Some homes on our schedule may have received repairs or improvements since we completed the survey used to develop our three-year plan, so we will visit your home to complete another survey.
When we visit, some things may now meet our standards. For example, your home may have received a replacement kitchen or very significant repairs within the last few years. This means your home may not need all of the work we have planned. We’ll discuss this with you when we visit to complete the survey.
